The item was on backorder, but when it came, it was in great condition and worked beautifully on my machine.
My Janome machine is 14 years old. This plate fit perfectly even though it has that extra metal bar across the front.

Needle plate fit my machine perfectly. Didn’t have to remove the bar across the bottom as others have. Took almost 8 weeks for the back order to be fulfilled and had initiate contact with customer service several times for any update. Only reason that I deducted 2 stars.

We had to remove 4 screws for it to fit my model . I first thought it’s not fitting and my friend Larry looked at it and said these screws have to be removed it’s the exact same plate as you have . It worked beautifully!! Thanks

It's the part I needed and since it seems I get dings in them often, I bought 2 extras to keep on hand

wonderful service and I was happy to get my new needle plate for my Kenmore.
They said the item was out of stock but it came within a week. They kept me posted on the delivery of the item.
The needle plate fit on the machine okay but it seemed to either be too thick where the feed dogs come through as they weren't able to move the fabric. Also the plastic bobbin cover release is not working so it does not hold the plastic cover on over the bobbin. I was disappointed.
It works great with my Kenmore machine. Was happy to find the part since kenmore’s aren’t made anymore. Even though I had to wait 3 months to get the part the customer service was excellent and quickly replied every time I inquired about my order. Was very happy to receive the part and get my my machine working again.
The plate is too thick and the machine will not move forward. It was a waste of money and time waiting on the part

Did not fit
I bent the needle plate on my Kenmore 19000 - a very old machine that was actually made by Janome for Sears back in the day. I knew Janome made a clone of the Sears Kenmore machine and was thrilled to see that they carried a Janome part that fit my machine perfectly. Thank you for keeping older parts in stock, I was able to repair my machine quickly and put it back into service.

The reason for 3 stars simply because it doesn�t fit my New Home sewing machine. I simply purchased the wrong part. Since Janome purchased/changed name (?) New Home, I tried getting the appropriate part. I think I just ordered wrong.
