I have this plate on my janome my lock 234. I cant seem to get anything sewn with it . Is this the regular plate to serge edges with . If not , do you carry it .

One of three items I purchased to support the Amani Ya Juu organization in Nairobi, Kenya. The needle plate had been used on this overlock extensively (note the bent pins). The knives were also replaced and the machine had years of lint and oil buildup. This maintenance allows the machine to be put back into service, allowing Amani Ya Juu to continue to make their free trade goods to support marginalized women in East Africa. Amaniafrica.org
It would be perfect if it fit my machine. Now I have two costly identical feed plates that don’t fit. Obviously the store has given me the wrong part number and I incorrectly assumed generic meant universal. I am returning them at significant postage cost along with a template of the broken part. 😪 I hope someone will be able to help me get my machine sewing again. 🙏🙏

I bought the off brand needle plate for my Janome serger. It came in a day before expected and fits perfectly. I'm back to sergering and it works perfect!

Glad to have this replacement for my machine. The pins were broken on my old one and after reading reviews I discovered it was easier to replace the entire plate that just the pins. One screw, off with the old, on with the new, screw back in and I am back in business! Thank you!

It was the wrong one. The needles were shorter and it was for the opposite side of the serger. (the screw holes) It is unusable to me on my serger. I have ordered another and hoping that this one is the right one. I usually get exactly what I order. I don't know if it was you or me that got it wrong. All I know it is the wrong one.
