The Open Toe Free Motion Spring Foot gives clear visibility when doing free motion quilting or embroidery. Because of the open front, you can easily do stippling or follow a design in the fabric. The spring action keeps the fabric from lifting with the needle as the stitch is being formed which helps eliminate thread breakage with specialty or heavier threads. Be sure to use the appropriate needle for the thread you are using.

Once again another defective part. The open toe attached at the bottom came lose, twisted under the needle causing it to break resulting in a small tear on a client's quilt while being quilted. Extremely disappointed and I'm now responsible for purchasing the clients damaged quilt.

This attachment does fit a Janome 1600-P and will perform as it's suppose to. Only issue, the bottom open toe became loose and it now turns, causing it shift and move under the needle while in motion.

I didn't like the FMQ feet that came with my Janome 6700P so my dealer told me to buy this one. Your company couldn't guarantee me it would fit but I bought it anyway. It doesn't fit so I am returning it. I'm not posting a picture of it. It looks just like the one above.
