fits my machine and works perfectly. I love having the 1/4 foot for quilting.
Straight 1/4" guide is AWESOMENESS! I've been sewing 60+ years. Never used in all years os dressmaking. Till starting teaching myself to make quilts, during cancer treatment. It works fantastic. My next learning curve is Walking Foot.

My Viking is older and doesn't have a demarcation for 1/4" on the face plate. this presser foot takes away the guesswork.

As a quilter 1/4,inch seams are a must, this guide foot makes it soooo very simple to stay that small amount. I have bought this type of guide for both my Pfaff and my Viking. Just wouldn’t sew without them.

I found this foot to not work well. My seam ended up being 3/8 not 1/4 and I had to rip out multiple seams and re-sew them for a quilt top. This foot will not be used again, very disappointed in its performance. The metal piece floats out making the seam bigger.

I was very happy with both purchases.
I am a beginning quilter and i thought I was doing something wrong because my seams were not always matching. On advice I measured the distance of the blade to the needle and discovered that the distance is larger than 1/4" . My needle does not adjust for this. I tried to bend it to be 1/4" but it won't adjust. Spent $26.34 for nothing. VERY disappointed. I was encouraged to use Viking parts because of the precision and quality. Did not happen for me.
Very thin plastic, hopefully it will last. Very expensive- was expecting a way sturdier made item.

Exactly as expected.
This little foot certainly helps you stay on a 1/4" seam line, but the little metal guide bar seems flimsy and flexible as it navigates the seam joints and pin heads. I can see it pulling away from the plastic foot sometimes, which messes up the 1/4" path. I would have thought that the metal would have been more substantial and not bend and flex like that. Metal fatigue will catch up with it, eventually I'm afraid. It's made of very thin metal and is attached with tiny rivets, so if it breaks, I won't be able to repair it, and it wasn't cheap. I'll be shopping for a more substantial foot without the tiny rivets.

This looks like a great foot but it does not work with my Husqvarna Viking S215, the space on the metal rod is not wide enough for my machine to snap onto.
Fit my needs perfectly.
