Welcome Back to the Beginner’s Guide to Sewing! This week is all about sewing some of those difficult fabric. After all, you learned how to master Knit fabric last week. Now you’re ready to play around with some of the more common, but tricky fabric to sew.
You’ll also learn how to cut and construct these fabrics, as well as a method of finish the hems. We show you step by step how to do a Flat Felled seam on Denim, a French Seam on Chiffon, and a Narrow Rolled Hem on Chiffon.
There is a ton of information here, so feel free to use this as a reference guide and refer back as often as you need or as you come across these fabric.

Love the tutorial on denim. I never know about the jean jig or the idea of using the point turner to level the presser foot when going over bulky denim seams. Cannot wait to try this. Thank you!!
