Embroidery Stabilizers 101

written by Sarah

There are so many stabilizers available, choosing one can be overwhelming. If you’re not sure, you’re not alone. We’ll show you the basics to get you started embroidering with confidence. Basically, you have Tear Away, Cut Away, and Water/Heat Soluble.

Tear away is perfect for woven fabric.

Cut Away is great for knit fabric.

Water Soluble is ideal for sheer fabric or as a top stabilizer on towels/velvet/fleece.
