WHAT IS SEWCREATIVE LIVE?
We at Sewing Parts Online cannot believe it's almost Christmas! It's our favorite time of year because it's our busiest season, and nothing makes us feel happier than helping sewers, quilters, embroiderers, and crafters get the supplies they need to accomplish their Christmas projects. Also, it's the time of year we get calls from husbands looking to upgrade their wives' machines and parents wanting to buy a beginner sewing machine for their children to learn how to sew. Unfortunately, helping our customers over the phone doesn't always provide all the information they need to feel confident in their Christmas shopping decisions. That's why, this year, we are hosting a virtual event called SewCreative Live: Christmas!
SewCreative Live (SCL) is a virtual streaming event we host a few times throughout the year. The focus is to offer tutorials, machine and notion demonstrations, and live Q&As with industry experts to help our community push their artistry and craft to the next level. Let's be honest; we're in the business of selling sewing supplies, but what's more important to us is that our customers feel confident and comfortable using the tools they purchase from us. It is a privilege to live in a day and age where we can connect directly with our following to offer more than just a sale. At the end of the day, the core of who we are is an educational resource for sewing creatives and machine technicians! Nothing makes us happier than sharing our knowledge with the world.
WHAT TO EXPECT DURING SEWCREATIVE LIVE: CHRISTMAS
SewCreative Live: Christmas will be a 3-day event featuring presentations from industry experts, quilting masters, and TikTok sewing educators. Presenters will demonstrate new sewing machines and accessories, provide in-depth information on sewing-related topics such as needles and thread, and show you how to make things like wristlets and sponges! Each segment will be around 30-60 minutes, and you'll be able to ask questions and interact with our educators in the comments! Throughout the event, we'll do giveaways for those who participate, but we'll tell you more about that in a minute.

WHEN IS SEWCREATIVE LIVE AND HOW DO I PARTICIPATE?
The event takes place on December 7th & 8th from 9 am-4 pm CST and December 9th from 9 am-2 pm CST (though times are subject to change). You'll be able to join us on our Facebook & YouTube pages and at sewingpartsonline.com. If you cannot attend any of the days of our event, the playbacks for each day will be uploaded to our YouTube channel for you to watch whenever you'd like.
WHAT ABOUT GIVEAWAYS?
We've been able to give away some fantastic prizes in the past! WHAT'S NEXT AFTER SCL: CHRISTMAS?
After our event, we'll take some time to get back into making YouTube tutorials and TikTok content for you to enjoy. If you don't currently follow us, we'd love for you to join our little community. We've got some really exciting stuff planned for 2023! As for live-streaming events, we'll pop in periodically for small, single-day live streams with different educators, and we hope to put together another SewCreative Live for Spring!
