I was very scared of the serger, threading, its speed and so on. I didn’t remove it from the shipping box for 2 weeks. Partially because I didn’t order thread when I ordered the serger and the remaining was of intimidation. I am a VERY novice sewer. But I have taken it out of the box and threaded it with the help of YouTube. Threading the machine was quite easy and I serged a sample piece of material. Now I will work on my apron I have sewn. Wish me luck.

This machine is not as complicated as I thought a serger might be. This is my first one. I did my research and found this to be a great starting point. I love the features that it has, like the ease of threading. That alone scared me. Great quality machine. Love it so far.
I was working on a memory bear using fleece and realized the serger I just bought might make it easier to work with. Boy, was I right! Serging the edges after cutting them was absolutely a great working tool.
I would strongly suggest watching a video of how to thread, because I thought I was doing everything it said, but it wasn’t working. After watching three videos, I finally found one that told me the step I was leaving out. It was the step that engages the air tube.
I’m loving my Babylock Celebrate serger. I especially like the Jet Air Threading system as I struggled for years with a “regular” serger. Works perfectly!
My old serger (a White) was 34 years old, and I was beyond tired of threading and fixing it! I bought this two weeks ago and I haven't stopped smiling yet :)!! The air threader is wonderful and the tension was perfectly set, right out of the box. I really should have bought this ten years ago...
I know I'm going to love learning how to use this serger. It is my first one and I'm excited to jump right into it. I can't wait to learn how to use it to improve my sewing skills.
Love this serger! Threading it is a dream and the stitching is great. So far I have made 16 zipper bags in one afternoon! I have not tried the bonus feet yet, but I am looking forward to playing with them.

I love this baby lock celebration. It runs beautifully and has a wonderful stitch. The threading is a game changer! Air threading the loopers, and then the automatic threader for the needles makes this machine a very user-friendly serger.
This machine is just what is described. No more, no less. I've just started serging, but have been sewing for a very long time. Follow the clear instructions in the book and this machine does the job, but it is not top of the line. The air threading is great - as long as you follow instructions, as is the needle threader - wow! a needle threader! Didn't think I needed one, but so glad there is one. There is a little difficulty changing the presser foot - it takes some wiggling when it is supposed to be a basic snap on. Easy to use basic serger. Sewing Parts Online made it easy to choose with a just-right bonus, too.
Very easy to thread. Watch the video and follow the steps. EASY! I have used this machine several times and the so smooth sewing is excellent. No vibrations as with my other brand.
Works great. Need better YouTube videos to show exactly how to thread the machine. Some did not even show how to thread the needles. Finally figured out how to thread it.
