Welcome back to the Beginner's Guide to Sewing! In Episode 9, we're going to put those creative juices to work and make an easy elastic waistband skirt. No pattern needed, just a large rectangle equal to waist measurement x2.
The skirt I'm making is a miniature version, so you can see the project better as I'm making it, but the steps are the same.
There are many different ways to make a skirt - this is just one of many. Go out into the web and explore different techniques. And remember, you're learning something new - be patient with yourself and enjoy the learning experience!
