Designed by Edyta Sitar, the Alaska Ruler from Creative Grids is a multipurpose tool that can cut various sizes. You can cut 45 ° wedges, diamonds, squares, half-square triangles, and more with this one ruler. The instructions include how to make basic kaleidoscope blocks as well as an Alaska block in four different sizes, from 9" to 16". The ruler measures 7-1/4" by 12".
As with all Creative Grids rulers, the Alaska Ruler slides easily over the fabric until pressure is applied. Once pressure is applied, their exclusive gripper technology holds the material in place, helping to prevent slipping and miss-cuts.
