The Janome 1200D Serger is a top of the line serger overlocker, cover hemmer, and top cover hemmer. Capable of 2, 3, 4, and 5 thread serging, this luxury machine has endless creative possibilities. The included 2-Thread converter allows you to sew a narrow hem. Janome's 1200D Serger automatically sets your tensions when you select your desired stitch, and the recommended machine setting are displayed on the stitch information panel. Stitches include 5-Thread Wide, 3-Thread Wide, Overlock-3, Triple Cover Hem, Cover Hem Wide, Cover Hem Narrow, Chainstitch, and 3 Top Cover Stitches.

Easy Threading:
Skip the frustration of serger threading by using the color-coded threading chart. The chart is conveniently located inside the machines front cover and takes you step-by-step through the threading process.

Quick Change Rolled Hem:
Easily switch back and forth between serging and rolled hemming. No need to change the needle plate! Simply flip the switch to engage the chaining finger, and you are ready to create professional rolled hems.

Retractable Upper Knife:
Some serger stitches, such as flatlock and decorative stitches, require that the upper blade be disengaged. Janome's 1200D features a retractable upper knife for your convenience.

Adjustable Foot Pressure:
Sew with confidence on any type of fabric. Whether you are sewing a thick fleece or a thin sheer fabric, you can achieve professional stitches by adjusting the presser foot pressure accordingly.

Differential Feed:
With a differential feed ratio of 0.5mm to 5mm, you can sew knits without stretching the fabric and woven fabric without puckering them. Adjust your differential feed dial to suit your fabric.
