Blindstitch Foot #5 is designed for creating clean, nearly invisible hems. When sewing a blind hem with this foot, the stitches are barely noticeable from the right side of the fabric, giving garments a polished, professional finish.

The stitch forms over a special guide blade that helps create a slightly relaxed stitch, allowing the hem to lie flat. Once pressed, the needle penetration points on the front of the fabric close up, making the seam virtually disappear. The guide blade also maintains a consistent distance from the folded edge, ensuring neat, even results along the entire hem.
