Cutterpillar Glow Premium LED Lightpad and Cutting Mat is an illuminated light tablet for all your sewing and crafting projects. Use it with tracing, paper-piecing, applique, fussy-cutting, crosstitching, calligraphy, and much more. Like the Basic version, the Premium has three levels of LED illumination controlled by a convenient switch, so you get the most comfortable lighting environment possible. The flicker-free LED lights never get hot to the touch and last up to 50,000 hours. It comes with a one-of-a-kind translucent, non-slip, self-healing cutting mat that allows for extended cutting with most cutting tools, i.e., rotary cutters and craft blades. The mat even has easy-to-see grid lines and multiple rulers and angles. The main difference between the two mats is that the Premium allows you to be cord-free! Cutterpillar Glow Premium includes an internal rechargeable battery, allowing up to 4 hours of portable crafting. It does come with a USB cord and wall plug for easy charging. You can also charge it with most USB power sources like a sewing machine or computer. The Glow Basic measures approximately 13" by 19" and has a lighted area of 12" by 16".
