How to Use the Elastic Foot

1. Set Up the Machine Select the desired stitch on your overlock machine.
2. Insert the Elastic
   Loosen the tension screw at the front of the Elastic Foot to release the roller’s tension.
   Insert the elastic into the foot, ensuring it fits securely.
3. Attach the Foot Snap on the Elastic Foot and pull the elastic so it extends behind the foot.
4. Adjust Tension Tighten the tension screw to stretch the elastic to the desired amount.
5. Secure the Elastic Turn the handwheel to sew the first few stitches, securing the elastic in place.
6. Position the Fabric and Sew Place the fabric under the foot and sew, attaching the elastic to the fabric with even, consistent tension.
7. Check and Adjust Examine the stitch and adjust the tension as needed for a perfect finish.

Note:

Adjusting the Stretch of the Elastic

• For more stretch: Turn the tension screw to the right.
• For less stretch: Turn the tension screw to the left.

Tip: Do not stretch the fabric while sewing, as this may distort the final result.
