30 Built-in Stitches:
Among the 30 built-in sewing stitches are utility, stretch, satin, and decorative options. These stitches make it easy to sew apparel, home decor, and quilts.

One-Step Buttonhole:
The MOD-30 features three buttonhole options in different styles. Select the buttonhole that best suits your project, and the intelligent machine will sew it out for you with the press of a button.

Start/Stop Button:
Sew on autopilot using the start/stop button; no foot control required! Simply set your speed using the speed control slider, then press the start button. When you are ready to stop, press the button again. To immediately slow your sewing speed, press and hold the start/stop button.

Lock Stitch Button:
A lockstitch button is used at the beginning and end of each stitch in the place of the reverse button. This knots the first and last stitches to ensure that they don't come undone.

Memorized Needle Up/Down Button:
The needle up/down button puts you in control of where your needle stops when you take your foot off the foot control or press the stop button. Set the needle to stop in the down position if you will be making frequent adjustments to your fabric's position, such as when sewing around curves and corners.

Presser Foot Recommendation:
Not sure which presser foot to use with your selected stitch? Take a look at the LCD screen. In the top left corner, you will see the recommended presser foot for your selected stitch.

Free Arm:
A free arm is a must-have for garment sewing and repairs. This narrow sewing bed is small enough that you can slide a pant leg or shirt sleeve over it and hem it without fear of sewing the open shut.

Onboard Storage:
Located inside the removable sewing bed is a small compartment perfect for storing presser feet, extra bobbins, and tools when they're not in use. This compartment is also perfect for transporting your tools when you travel with your machine.

Drop Feed:
The drop feed lever allows you to disengage the fabric feeders, putting you in control of the fabric's direction as you sew. Sew on buttons, freehand embroidery, and free motion patterns using the drop feed feature.

Seven Piece Feed Dog:
A seven-piece feed dog ensures consistent feeding of fabrics. Sew with confidence on your Janome MOD-30.
