I received it on time and in very good condition very helpful
The only issu I had was the instructions that it came with. They were inadequate for a person like me who is not a repair professional. The extra pieces that came out of the box unatteched to anything baffled me since I had no way of knowing where they belonged or if they were just spare pieces.

It was as described.
Expected it to fit my identified kenmore model. While it does technically fit into the hole, it is far too small and lacks the required groove to actually lock into my unit (heavy green metal 148.12140 model). It does fit my grandmothers kenmore model much closer and is at least usable so I did not return it to keep as a spare.

The tensioner worked just fine. Lets get real though. I have been using a 40 year old steel heavy sewing machine. My wife bought me $70 Singer that is light plastic, and it sews circles around my antique Kenmore. If you are still using an old sewing machine, spend the money and get a newer model. You will be surprised if nothing but the weight saving.

While I was happy to find a tension assembly for my aging Kenmore sewing machine (purchased in 1983) during the pandemic as I made stacks of masks, this tension assembly did not last long. From the outset, it was obvious that it was not of the quality of the original part and it never seemed to actually control the tension resulting in sloppy stitches. I have since packed up that machine and moved it to storage in the attic to make room for my newly-purchased sewing machine with which I am very pleased.
Was able to replace the original tension assembly with a warped washer. Tension is fixed and I can sew again.

The package came with no instructions about how to replace. I had to depend on Google videos for instructions. After installation, it did not work. I still cannot use my sewing machine. The assembly is "loose"...like some of the washers need to be tightened, but again, no instructions, so I don't know how to fix the problem.
