Looks much different than what was photoed online. I thought I was getting more of a pinkish blue and this is more yellow and green.. still pretty but not what I thought I was getting

Once you try Aurifil's Mako Cotton Variegated Thread, you will love it. This 50wt, 2-ply thread is durable and thin, resulting in flat and crisp seams. Unlike other threads, Aurifil's thread is mercerized to give it strength and a vibrant sheen. Mako Cotton Variegated Thread is available in various colors, and each spool contains 1,422 yards (1300m).
Variegated threads are wonderfully adaptable, adding color interest to any project. This long-staple Egyptian cotton thread is ideal for embroidery, longarm quilting, basting, hand piecing, bobbin machine lace, and any other project you would like to use it on. Aurifil recommends you use an 80/12 needle in home sewing machines and a 4.0 needle in longarm machines. Varigated thread can be washed in cold water and tumble dried on very low heat; it shouldn't be bleached.
