The Multi-Line Decorative Foot is designed to help create evenly spaced borders using decorative stitches and serves as a guide for Omnimotion and side-motion stitches. The built-in guidelines ensure precise corner turns with 1/4” (6 mm) and 1/2” (12 mm) measurements, making it an essential tool for achieving accurate and professional-looking embellishments.

How to Use:

For Decorative Borders:

1. Thread the Machine Use sewing thread or decorative thread on top and sewing thread in the bobbin.
2. Select a Stitch Choose a decorative stitch that complements your design.
3. Attach the Foot Snap on the Multi-Line Decorative Foot.
4. Mark the Fabric Use a water-soluble pen to mark the center stitching line.
5. Stabilize the Fabric Place Tear-Away Stabilizer under the fabric.
6. Sew the First Row Align the presser foot with the marked center line using the red center guideline on the foot and sew the first row.
7. Select a New Decorative Stitch Choose another decorative stitch to add variety.
8. Position the Fabric Move the fabric to the left and determine the desired spacing between rows.
9. Align Using the Foot's Guidelines Use the horizontal red lines on the foot to ensure the start of each row is aligned properly.
10. Sew the Next Row Stitch along the fabric, using the red guidelines on the foot to maintain even spacing.
11. Mirror the Stitch Use the mirror image function on your machine to flip the stitch design for symmetrical results. Move the fabric to the right of the center stitch.
12. Sew the Right Seam Continue stitching along the right side for a balanced design.
13. Expand the Border Keep adding more rows of decorative stitches to create a wider and more intricate border.
14. Remove the Stabilizer Tear away the stabilizer for a clean, professional finish.

For Omnimotion or Side-Motion Stitches:

1. Thread the Machine Use sewing or decorative thread on top and sewing thread in the bobbin.
2. Select a Stitch Choose an Omnimotion or side-motion stitch for multi-directional sewing.
3. Attach the Foot Snap on the Multi-Line Decorative Foot.
4. Mark the Fabric
   Draw a center stitching line with a water-soluble pen.
   Mark one or two additional lines on each side of the center line for guidance.
5. Stabilize the Fabric Place Tear-Away Stabilizer under the fabric.
6. Sew with Control
   Let the machine control the feeding as you sew.
   Keep the marked lines parallel to the red vertical guidelines on the foot for straight and even stitching.
7. Finish Tear away the stabilizer for a clean, professional result.
