Pfaff In-R-Form Plus Batting - 30" x 36" Details
Product Description
Pfaff® In-R-Form Plus™ Batting – 30" x 36" combines soft, shapeable foam with a fusible adhesive on both sides—making it ideal for structured sewing projects that need a little extra body. Whether you're crafting bags, purses, wallets, placemats, or quilted home décor, this double-sided fusible stabilizer provides lasting structure while remaining lightweight and easy to sew through.
The 30" x 36" size is perfect for medium-sized projects, and the fusible layers eliminate the need for messy sprays or pins, allowing your fabric to stay in place during stitching. Unlike traditional batting, Pfaff® In-R-Form Plus™ won't collapse or wrinkle. In-R-Form Plus™ Batting takes the fuss out of stabilizing and elevates your sewing projects with durable structure and a clean, professional finish. It’s a must-have for anyone who wants their handmade creations to stand tall, hold their shape, and look beautiful for years to come.

Key Benefits:
- Double-Sided Fusible: Adhesive on both sides securely bonds your outer fabrics—no need for basting, sprays, or pins.
- Shapeable Foam Core: Adds flexible structure to bags, wallets, table runners, and more without stiffness or added weight.
- Sews Easily: Smooth, pliable surface is easy to stitch by machine or hand.
- Won’t Flatten or Crease: Retains its shape through use and washing.
- Perfect Size: 30" x 36" is ideal for most handbag and mid-sized decorative projects.
- Quilted and non-quilted bags and totes
- Wallets, fabric baskets, and cases
- Placemats and table runners
- Dimensional quilt blocks and textile art
- Fuse Before Sewing: Press outer fabrics in place with a dry iron on a medium setting. Work from the center out to avoid bubbles.
- Use with Cotton Fabrics: Prewash and preshrink natural fibers before fusing to prevent puckering after laundering.
- Steam Press Finished Projects: After sewing, use a steam iron on moderate heat to smooth fabric surfaces and set the shape.
- Use a steam iron only—hand steamers will not permanently bond In-R-Form Plus to fabric.
- Set your iron to the wool setting.
- Layer your materials: Place In-R-Form Plus on the wrong side of one fabric piece, then position the second fabric piece wrong side down on top.
- Fuse the first side: Cover the top fabric with a damp pressing cloth and apply moderate pressure with your iron for 8–10 seconds, or until fabric is bonded to the stabilizer.
- Flip and repeat: Turn the construction over and repeat the process on the other side.
- Cool completely before checking bond. If needed, repeat pressing for a secure hold.
- Fusing only one side? Place a Teflon sheet or parchment paper under the unbonded fusible side, apply your fabric wrong side down, and follow the same fusing steps.
