The Sensormatic Free-Motion Foot is ideal for stippling, thread painting, and free-motion embroidery. Its open design offers excellent visibility around the needle area, making it easier to follow intricate patterns and add detailed, artistic stitching. With smooth, bounce-free motion, this foot helps you create beautiful, consistent results with greater control.
How to Use:
- Disengage the IDT™ System Turn off the Integrated Dual Feed if your machine has it.
- Attach the Foot Remove the presser foot holder, then attach the Sensormatic Free-Motion Foot to the presser foot bar. Ensure the foot’s pin rests securely on the needle clamp screw.
- Secure the Foot Use your index finger to press the foot firmly into place from behind, then tighten the screw to secure it.
- Lower the Feed Dogs Manually drop the feed dogs to allow for free-motion movement.
- Select Your Stitch Choose a straight stitch for smooth, controlled quilting or embroidery.
- Guide the Fabric Manually With the feed dogs down, you’ll move the fabric by hand. Maintain a steady sewing speed and guide the fabric in a smooth, even motion for consistent stitch lengths.
