Purple Hobbies Magnetic Ruler Handles (2pk) Details
Longarm, small, or curved rulers can all benefit from Purple Hobbies Magnetic Ruler Handles. Repositioning your rulers is super easy with these handles, especially if you struggle to grip them due to arthritis or mobility issues. Since they all come in a two-pack, you can create a "wall" around your fingers/hand to protect yourself from your rotary cutter when trimming corners. These magnetic rulers are both removable and reusable with other rulers and templates. Choose from three sizes: 2", 5", and 8". The 2" and 5" sets include four self-adhesive steel discs, while the 8" has six self-adhesive steel discs.
To use the handles, simply peel the backing off the self-adhesive steel disc while it is attached to the Magnetic Ruler Handle. For best results, position the Magnetic Ruler Handle at least 1/4" from the edge of your ruler to allow your hand and rotary cutter to glide past the handle. Then, press the handle where you want it on your ruler so the sticky discs attach. You can remove the Magnetic Ruler Handle for use with other rulers, but note the steel discs remain on your ruler, so you may want to invest in extra steel discs.
The 2" handle works best with rulers and templates from 2" to 5", including curves and odd shapes. Use the 5" handle on rulers from 6" to 12" or templates like wedding rings. The 8" handle pairs great with 10" to 24" rulers to safely trim block corners.
