The Creative Grids® 2-1/2in x 4-1/2in Rectangle Ruler makes it easy to cut popular 2-1/2-inch precuts and trim smaller quilt blocks, patchwork pieces, and sewing projects with accuracy. Made in the USA from high-quality acrylic, this compact ruler features Creative Grids®’ exclusive non-slip grip. It slides smoothly over fabric for positioning, then holds securely in place when light pressure is applied—helping prevent slips while you cut.
Easy-to-read black and white markings include 1-inch grids with 1/8-inch and 1/4-inch increments. Use the 1/4-inch grip side to cut whole-inch measurements and trim seam allowances, or turn to the 1/2-inch grip side to cut half-inch measurements and add seam allowances. Dashed 1/4-inch lines along two adjoining sides provide additional guidance when trimming. White and black 45-degree lines help with half-square triangles, flying geese units, squares set on point, and cross-hatch quilting, while the 30/60-degree angled line is useful for cutting diamonds. Centered horizontal and vertical white lines also make it easier to fussy-cut stripes, borders, and other directional designs.
