The 16x231 features a light ball point (SES) suitable for knits, denim, and woven fabrics. The light ball point displaces woven and knitted threads, directly piercing the spaces and avoiding damage to the material. System 16x231 SES is generally used in single-needle lockstitch industrial sewing machines but occasionally may be used in domestic machines. Schmetz 16x231 SES Needles come in a pack of ten and are easy to store with the included hard plastic case.
