The Schmetz Heavy Duty Needle Bundle is perfect for the quilting and sewing enthusiast who would like to sample different types and sizes of needles. These needles work with most home sewing machine brands that use a 15x1 needle system. Each pack of needles will come in a plastic case that slides shut for safe storage. The needle system, needle type, and needle size are printed on the front of the case. The bundle includes a five-pack of universal 110/18 needles, denim 110/18 needles, leather 110/18 needles, a Schmetz Luggage Tag, and a Schmetz ABC Pocket Guide. Most Schmetz Needles include two color-coded bands just below the shank. The top color indicates the type of needle, and the lower color indicates the size. All of the needles in this bundle will have a yellow lower band to indicate size 110/18.

Universal Needles
Schmetz 130/705H Universal Needles have a slightly rounded point making them a great general-purpose needle for sewing a variety of woven and knit fabrics.

Leather Needles
Schmetz 130/705 H LL Leather Needles have a cutting point that makes them excellent for penetrating through leather and similar materials without tearing it. They are not meant for knits, woven fabrics, and some synthetic leathers. The Schmetz Leather Needles have a brown top band.

Denim Needles
Schmetz 130/705H-J Jeans/Denim Needles have a modified, medium ballpoint tip and a reinforced blade that makes this needle excellent for penetrating denim, extra thick woven fabrics, or quilts with minimum deflection. This superior point design is Schmetz exclusive and reduces the risk of damaged fabric and skipped stitches. The heavier jeans threads work best with the larger needle.
