Product Description

The Schmetz 130/705 H SPR Universal Spring Needle is designed with a wire coil around the shaft and functions as a presser foot that depresses the fabric as the needle goes down and releases the fabric when the needle raises. This Universal Spring Needle allows you to free-motion quilt on your machine and stitch monograms in an embroidery hoop without the need for a presser foot. The built-in spring replaces a traditional darning foot while giving you better visibility while sewing. These needles can be used in household sewing machine brands where needles with a flat shank are required.

Most Schmetz Needles include two color-coded bands just below the shank. The top color indicates the type of needle, and the lower color indicates the size. The Schmetz Universal Spring Needle does not have a top band. Schmetz 130/705 H SPR Universal Spring Needle comes as one needle per package.
