How to Use:

To Cover Welt Cording:
1. Prepare the Fabric and Cord Use 1/4" (6 mm) cotton filler cord. Cut bias or cross-grain fabric strips wide enough to wrap around the cord, including seam allowance.
2. Attach the Foot Snap on the Single Welt Cord Foot and select a center needle position straight stitch with a stitch length of 3.
3. Wrap and Position Place the cording on the wrong side of the fabric strip, wrap the fabric around the cord, and place it under the foot with the cording in the groove on the underside.
4. Sew to Cover the Cord Stitch along the cord to secure the fabric covering, ensuring a smooth and even wrap.

To Stitch Covered Welt Cord into a Seam:
1. Attach the Foot Snap on the Single Welt Cord Foot and select a center needle position straight stitch with a stitch length of 3.
2. Position the Welt Cord Place the covered welt cord on the right side of the fabric along the seam line. Align it under the Single Welt Cord Foot with the welt cord in the groove, then stitch it to the fabric.
3. Clip at Curves and Corners To help the cord lay smoothly, clip the seam allowance of the welt cord at curves and corners.
4. Sew the Seam Place the second fabric layer right sides together with the first, sandwiching the welt cord between them. Align the welt cord in the groove of the foot and stitch along the first stitching line.
5. Adjust for a Clean Finish Slightly adjust the needle position to the right to cover the first stitching, ensuring a professional, polished look.
