Cutting slits are positioned every 1/2 inch, with whole- and half-inch increments clearly marked. Additional markings make it easy to cut 1/8- and 3/8-inch measurements, while turning the ruler around provides markings for 1/4- and 3/4-inch cuts. Black stars highlight 1-1/2-inch cuts for quick reference. Use the black lines to square blocks in whole-inch increments up to 6 inches, or follow the white lines to square blocks in half-inch increments up to 6-1/2 inches.

The exclusive Creative Grids® non-slip grip lets the ruler glide smoothly over fabric while you position it, then holds securely when light pressure is applied. Its flexible design also adjusts to the added thickness of embroidery, helping you accurately trim embroidered blocks.
