How to Use:

1. Attach the Foot Loosen the presser foot ankle screw completely and remove the ankle. Place the Closed Free Motion Spring Foot around the presser bar, then attach it using the screw.

Hint: Lower the needle slightly to make it easier to position the metal guide on the foot correctly onto the needle clamp.


2. Thread the Machine Thread your sewing machine with the desired thread for free motion quilting or sewing.
3. Select Stitch Settings Choose a center needle position straight stitch.
4. Activate Free Motion Mode Choose a center needle position straight stitch.

Note: When the feed dogs are dropped, the fabric is no longer fed by the machine. You must manually move the fabric to create stitches.


5. Prepare for Sewing Bring the bobbin thread to the top by taking one stitch. Hold onto both threads and sew a few securing stitches to lock the thread in place.
6. Start Free Motion Sewing Maintain a consistent speed and move the fabric smoothly. The stitch length is determined by how quickly you move the fabric. Use the red markings on the foot as a guide for accuracy while sewing.

This foot ensures smooth, controlled free motion quilting while preventing fabric lifting and thread breakage, making it ideal for intricate quilting designs and detailed embroidery work.
