It took me awhile to figure out how to attach this foot and make sure the lever was on too of the mounting screw. And how to insert the extension so that it stayed steady. But I finally did. Still working out how much I need to adjust the pressure foot to get get fabric sandwich to feed evenly without puckers. When I bought this I was also confused between "walking foot" and "free motion quilting foot". I will use the free motion one more. All of this to say I think this walking foot product is fine. But my use of it is limited to my understanding of how to best use it.

This walking foot is just what I needed to quilt a thick quilt. It works perfectly. My only complaint would be with Janome. They're no instructions on how to attach it to the machine. Luckily it wasn't too hard. You just need to take the snap on foot adapter off the shank and to place the white lever on top of the needle tightening screw. Sewing parts Online sent it in a timely manner and even followed up with an email to confirm that I received it. I will be keeping them at the top of my list of companies to order from.

I cannot attach the walking foot because the set screw on my machine is not long enough to securely fasten the walking foot. This is strange because the set screw works fine on my old walking foot. I am trying to locate a longer set screw, but if I am unable to do so, I will have to return the walking foot.
