If you've ever struggled to feed your fabric through a sewing machine, you need a Walking Foot. Also known as a "Dual Feed Foot" and "Even Feed Foot", the Walking Foot is an essential tool for any sewer. This foot has built-in grips that hold your fabric for better control. Sewing multiple layers of fabric professionally and with ease. To use this foot on Elna 5000, 6000, 7000 (with a grey lifter lever), you must change to white lifter lever #461201-10. Please note that your walking foot may or may not come with a white cover on the presser foot lever (the "fork" that rests on the needle bar). This in no way affects the functionality of the foot.

• Enhanced Visibility: With most feet, you lose visibility as the fabric goes under the foot, but with the open-toe on this walking foot (excluding the basic walking foot), you can see where your needle will land and ensure that your stitching in the right area.


• Multifunctional: The walking foot is used in both sewing and quilting applications. This foot makes it easier to match plaids across seams, stitch in the ditch, and to topstitch multiple layers and thicker materials like leather and vinyl.

Note: If you are using this walking foot with the Kenmore 148.14220, you may need to remove the thread cutter.
