This template ruler is meant to be used with patterns that feature a circular base, like Baptist Fans and Mandalas, to name a few. The Artisan Curve Iris can also be used with any of Westalee's quilting templates to create more unique designs. When using the Iris 23, you will want to start with your smallest design and build-out for a layered, intricate pattern. The template ruler can be used with both longarm and domestic machines, but these templates are cut to three different thicknesses to suit the shank and make.
