A built-in needle threader is a must-have if you never want to struggle to thread a needle again. Choose from 200 built-in utility, stretch, satin, and decorative stitches to construct and customize each one of your projects. Also included with your stitches are three alphabets in various fonts that are great for monogramming. Up to 20 stitch pattern combinations can be saved in the memory for latter use. The 720Pro has an unbelievable 91 needle positions. This allows for more detail in decorative stitches, and incredible fine adjustments in all stitch creations. And with the 9mm stitch width, this sort of bold detail can be easily appreciated.

Astonishingly, the Elna eXcellence 720Pro can stitch at a rate of 1,200 stitches per minute. Finish every project in half the time it would have taken with another machine.
Built-in LED Lights
Never miss a stitch with three LED lights in three different locations. Elna's 720Pro allows you to quilt for longer stretches without eye strain. These super bright lights are located on the arm or the machine and over the needle. The LED bulbs don't put off much heat and last subsantially longer than traditional sewing machine bulbs.
CONVENIENT ONE TOUCH BUTTONS
Equipped with convenient one-touch buttons, Elna's 720Pro allows you to switch tasks smoothly and effortlessly. You will find the following options along the front of the machine: needle up/down, automatic thread cutter, lock stitch, start/stop, speed control slider, and reverse stitch. With these buttons, you can raise or lower the needle, prevent your stitches from coming undone, or even use them in place of a foot control.
ADJUSTABLE FOOT PRESSURE
Sew professional-level stitches with the help of the adjustable presser foot pressure. Turn the dial along the top of the machine to adjust your pressure according to the type of fabric you are sewing. Elna recommends that you set the machine to 3 for regular sewing. Your LCD screen will also suggest what pressure you should use depending on the stitch and foot selected.

Knee Lifter
Using the knee lifter, you can raise and lower the presser foot with your knee, leaving both hands free to handle the fabric.
Drop-in Bobbin
Bobbin changes are effortless with the quick-set drop-in bobbin. Drop your bobbin in the machine, pull your threads through the slot, and let your 720Pro do the rest.
Buttonhole Foot
This machine includes an automatic buttonhole foot with a stabilizer plate as well as a button sewing foot so you can easily sew any of the nine one-step buttonholes your machine offers.
EXTRA-HIGH PRESSER FOOT LIFT
When you need extra space to sew thicker fabrics, the Elna's eXcellence 720Pro has you covered. It features an extra-high presser foot lift. This additional space makes it easier to sew multilayer projects, so there is no more struggling to fit thick fabrics like denim and fleece under your presser foot. You can raise the presser foot about 7mm (1/4˝) higher than the normal up position by exerting more pressure when lifting the presser foot.
One Step Needle Plate Conversion
With the help of the one-step needle plate conversion button, it is easy to switch between the three provided needle plates (regular plate, straight stitch plate, and professional-grade needle plate). Push the button on the corner of the sewing bed to detach the old needle plate and snap in the new one.
Manual Tension
Fully manual stitch settings allow you to have control of your stitches. The setting dial is easily adjusted to create a perfectly balanced stitch based on your fabric type and weight. Your LCD screen will also recommend specific tension settings for some feet and stitch patterns. If the bobbin thread appears on the right side of your fabric, then the needle tension is too tight, and if your needle thread is too loose, it will appear on the wrong side of the material.
Upstanding Dual Thread Stands w/ Retractable Thread Guide
As most quilters are aware, quilting can use up a lot of thread. So on the 720Pro you can use a wide variety of thread spools or cones with perfect results with the telescopic thread guide. It also makes winding your bobbin easier!
AUTO-DECLUTCH BOBBIN WINDER
This machine comes with an auto-declutch bobbin winder that makes sewing a breeze. You can keep multiple bobbins on hand, so you have the perfect thread color for every project! You never have to worry about overfilling your bobbin; the machine automatically stops when it detects that your bobbin is full.
7-PIECE FEED DOGS
Get professional-quality stitches on the 720Pro with the help of the 7-piece feed dog system. The feed dogs are located below the needle plate and move in sync with your presser foot to feed the fabric through the machine. You can also drop your feed dogs with the flip of a switch to free motion quilt.
