Seven (7) Needle Professional Embroidery Head
Having seven needles means you can complete multi-colored designs faster. Upload your design, select your desired thread colors, and assign them to a needle. After threading each needle and pressing start, the 970 will stitch out your design one color at a time.
LED Lighting
Elna's eXpressive 970 comes equiped with six super bright, daylight LEDs. You won't miss a stitch with the high-powered color rendering LEDs. Every detail on your embroidery projects will be lit up, and these bright LEDs will reduce eye strain and fatigue.
JUMP THREAD TRIMMING
Make weeding easy by setting a jump thread length. Any time the jump thread is going to be longer than your designated length, the 970 will automatically trim it. After embroidering, all you have to do is snip off the precut thread tails.
Built-in Designs
Choose from 50 ready-to-sew embroidery designs, which are categorized by hoop size. Upload design files to the 970 using a USB memory stick or the included USB cable. These designs can be saved to the machine's memory for future use! The included ten monogramming fonts are Gothic, Script, Cheltenham, Hollowblock, Bauhaus, Galant, Typist, Brush, First Grade, and Jupiter. Change the font orientation, size, and case to fit every project!
THREAD DETECTION SYSTEM
Have you ever been embroidering and didn't realize either your upper thread had broken and had to restart your design? The 970 has built-in sensors that detect thread breakage in any of the seven upper threads as well as the bobbin thread. The same principle applies if you run out of upper or lower thread. The machine will automatically stop when either is detected.
AUTO RETURN POST THREAD BREAK AND FLEXIBLE STITCH TRAVELING
If your thread breaks in the middle of an embroidery design, the 9700 will stop. After rethreading, the needle will return to the point where it left off. All you have to do is press start. Flexible stitch traveling allows you to move throughout your design from beginning to end.
Industrial Rotary Hook
Bobbin changes are a snap with this front-loading bobbin system. You don't even have to remove the hoop. The vertical hook makes bobbin insertion quick and simple, and with the extra-large bobbins that hold 40% more than average, you can go longer between changes.
REMOTE COMPUTER SCREEN (RCS)
The large RCS unit has an LCD full-color touch screen and also comes equipped with a USB port on the side for USB Stick or PC connections. From the screen, you can easily revise your designs. Edit and combine embroidery designs, fonts, and monograms. Add borders and text to your images. Other editing features include resize, flip, rotate, duplicate, and arc text.
25-Year Limited Warranty
Elna will ensure your machine's performance for 25 years from when the machine is purchased. Coverage is limited to repair or necessary replacement of parts caused by defects in quality and materials. Faults in electrical components will be for five years.
