7 Stitch Patterns
The eXtend 264 is loaded with the basic stitch patterns, including pintucking, gathering, decorative overedging, rolled hem, picot edging, narrow hemming, and regular/wide 3-thread serging. Serge anything from the sheerest chiffon to the thickest wool.
Stitch Length Dial | Differential Feed
Easily turn the stitch length dial to shorten or lengthen your stitch. The larger the number, the longer the stitch. For regular sewing, set the stitch length dial at 1.0. The stitch length can be adjusted from 1 to 4 mm. Position “R” is for rolled and narrow hemmings.
For the differential feed, the dial indicates the ratio between the primary and sub-feed motion. Lower numbers are ideal for delicate fabrics that may pucker, and higher numbers work best on knits, jersey, and tricot; for regular sewing, set the differential feed dial at 1.0.
Retractable Upper Knife
Quickly and easily disengage the knife for edges you do not want to be trimmed. After turning off and unplugging the machine, open both the looper cover and side cover. Turn the upper knife release knob toward you while pushing it to the right, then guide the hole on the upper knife to the pin to lock the upper knife in the down position.
Color-Coded Thread Guides
Threading the eXtend 264 is made easy thanks to the color-coded thread guides. Inside the looper cover there is a reference chart showing each thread path. The points to thread the lower looper are marked in green. The points to thread the upper looper are marked in red. The points to thread the right needle are marked in blue. The points to thread the left needle are marked in orange.
LED Lighting
Compared to conventional lighting, LED lighting provides a brighter and shadow-free illumination. Power-saving and eco-friendly LED bulbs are a more innovative solution altogether. LED bulbs don't put off much heat and last substantially longer than traditional sewing machine bulbs.
Presser Foot Pressure Dial
For accurate precision sewing, the correct presser foot pressure is crucial. Accommodate various fabric types and thicknesses by adjusting the pressure of the foot. Add more pressure to thinner fabrics and less pressure to thicker materials to achieve professional results. The standard setting is position N.
Snap-on Feet
