18 Built-in Stitches
The HD3000 comes with 18 functional and decorative stitches and a one-step buttonhole stitch. The machine utilizes a thread selector dial, making it easy to switch between the different types. There is a built-in stitch guide at the top of your machine that shows you the appropriate presser foot, stitch width, stitch length, and tension setting for the stitch you are using, meaning you won't have to worry about tinkering with the settings to get the best out of your machine. Extra-High Presser Foot Lifter & Pressure Adjuster
This machine utilizes an Extra-High Presser Foot Lifter, which means you can lift your foot higher than most normal machines if needed. This allows you to pass multiple layers of thick fabric (we're talking 6-7 layers of heavy denim) through the feed. You can also adjust the pressure of your presser foot. If you have a hard time feeding fabric through, you can lower the pressure to create less tension, so you don't have to work as hard to push materials through the machine. If your fabric is puckering, increase the presser foot pressure! As you use your machine, you'll be able to feel the sweet spots for your specific projects.
