Stitch Length Adjusting Dial
Turn the stitch length adjusting dial to set the desired stitch length number at the setting mark. The higher the number, the longer the stitch.
Top Loading Bobbin
With a top-loading bobbin case, you just drop your bobbin in and go! That means more time and less frustration getting your machine ready to sew. The clear bobbin cover allows you to monitor your thread and easily install and uninstall your bobbin.Snap on Presser Feet
Easily switch between presser feet using the included snap-on presser foot adapter. Press the lever to release the presser foot, then to install another one, simply line it up just underneath the foot holder and lower the presser bar.
Free Arm

Four Piece Feed Dog
The feed dog is located below the needle plate and moves in sync with your presser foot to feed the fabric through the machine. Janome's four-piece feed dog ensures a more consistent fabric feed, keeping layers from shifting as you sew.
Foot Pressure Adjustment
By turning the foot pressure dial you can adjust the pressure of your presser foot. The foot pressure dial should be set at 3 for regular sewing. Reduce the pressure to 2 for appliqué, cutwork, drawn work, and basting. Set the setting mark at 1 when sewing chiffon, lace, organdy, and other fine fabrics.
25 Year Limited Warranty
Janome America, Inc. will ensure your machine performance for 25 years from when the machine is purchased. Coverage is limited to repair or necessary replacement of parts caused by defects in quality and materials. Faults in electrical components will be for five years. One year of free labor by an Authorized Janome Retailer is included, usually by the dealership where you purchased your machine.
Extra-High Presser Foot Lift
The 721S features an Extra-High Presser Foot Lifter. You can raise the presser foot about 1/4" (0.6 cm) higher than the normal up position. This extra lift makes it easier to sew layers of thick or heavy fabrics like denim or quilt sandwiches.
