This allows you to keep both hands on your quilt while using your knee to lift the presser foot; you'll never go back to quilting without one again! The advanced feed dogs are built to have more contact with the fabric, meaning better feeding with less stress on your fabric. The box motion prevents stretching and warping of even the most delicate fabric. With the option to lower the feed dogs, you're able to do free-motion sewing without installing a special needle plate. This is a must have feature for those serious about creating the perfect stitch. This dial allows you to adjust the force exerted on your fabric by the presser foot, which improves how your fabric is fed through your machine. It also prevents unsightly puckering and stretching on difficult-to-sew fabrics. This machine includes 16 different types of buttonholes, all of which can be resized, including the cutting width. The automatic sensor perfectly sizes the buttonhole to fit corresponding button. Simply install the 1-Step Buttonhole Foot and press go.
