When my original darning/quilting foot broke after 25 years, I considered getting a cheap knockoff replacement sold elsewhere, but ultimately chose to stick with a Juki brand replacement, and I'm so glad I did. Sure, it was more expensive, but it's all metal, at least five times the weight of the cheap plastic ones, and it works so smoothly compared to the plastic one I had the chance to practice with.
