This type of hoop works better to hold my projects than any other kind I've tried. Be very cautious when you're first placing the top magnetic piece on! The magnetic strips are extremely strong and if any of your fingers are in the way, it will sharply snap on anyway, and can cause blood blisters. But it's worth the effort and time to learn how to do it properly. I didn't give it 5 stars because of the outrageous cost. You should be a very dedicated embroiderer to justify its price, and I know it will be worth it for me.
