This 2-in-1 cutting mat makes it easy to see light fabrics when cutting on the dark side and dark fabrics when cutting on the light side (the 9inx12in cutting mat is a limited edition green color). Whether you are left or right-handed, you will find the Dual Sided Cutting Mat to be a must-have in your sewing room. Please note the package says to maintain the quality of this mat, do not roll it and do not expose it to excessive heat. This is for storage. Due to the size of the mat, it may be shipped rolled. Per the manufacturer, it will flatten with time; however, to speed up the process, you can lay hot towels on the top. Notions pictured are not included.

I inherited a cutting table and after 16years the lines and numbers on the mat were unreadable. I couldn’t turn it over or even spin it because the notation on the other edge was metric. This mat is a few inches short but my stack of project parts covers it. I’ve only used it for less than a month but love that 1. There are no marks what so ever, 2. I can spin it and use the other side, then I can flip it over and have two more surfaces. I’ve not used the angle lines before so that will be a treat.
So smoooooth, cutting 2.5 inch strips for binding for this hex quilt! No sticking, no skipping, just plain awesome!
The actual self healing mats (one on each side) are very thin compared to my Olfa and Fiskars mats, both of which are is also two-sided. I don't think the QS mats will hold up very well; I expect the mats to separate from the material they are glued to most likely at the corners. I believe the mat I received might have been used. It was loosely contained in a plastic sleeve but there was a sticker on the mat that had been removed prior to shipping. The residue caught some fabric fibers when I first used the mat. I was able to remove the residue but I don't think I should have to. Also a small bubble on the light side of the mat (see photo). The mat is still usable but for the money spent I expected a better quality product.

Great cutting mat!
This mat is peeling. I was told I could order another one at a 10% discount. I called Creative Grids and they said it was up to Sewing Parts Online to deal with it. Not happy with the product for what I paid. I won't ever buy another Quilters Select product again. I think the mat should be replaced at no charge. My Fiskars that I bought at Wal-Mart never did this.

Comparing Quilters Select (QS) 36x60" to Olfa's 3-piece 35x70" mats: I've do a lot of fabric rotary cutting and have gone through several Olfa mats. I have had QS for a month now and think it will work and wear better. QS mat is thicker (2x), heavier, harder, seems to resist rotary cutting scars better, but isn't slippery. Being one piece, it avoids Olfa's attachment clips that get in the way or fiber tape on the back that always loosens. I'd gotten used to the seams on Olfa, but having no seams on QS is really nice. QS has measuring grid on both sides (twice the wear); Olfa does not. QS has numbers going both directions; Olfa only measures one direction. I do miss Olfa's bold lines every 10" and longer 1/4 & 1/2" marks (not on QS). I liked the first QS so much I ordered another (2 cutting tables) and neither had problems flattening out within a day. They arrived really cold; I let them warm up to room temp before laying them out. 60" long is plenty; my tables aren't much longer than 70", so I wasn't using the last 10" of the Olfa mats much anyway.
So Far So Good. I just added it to my table top. I made a new craft/sewing table in my craft space and wanted the cutting mat to cover the whole table.
Love the Quilter's Select Mat! I needed a new one for my cutting table. I ordered the 36x60 mat, it did come rolled but as you can see it flattened perfectly. Cuts like a dream!
This was the worst experience! The mat arrived rolled up. Customer Service was terrible thier recommendation was put it outside with books or return it and I pay the $200 shipping fee. I'm a very dissatisfied customer. This was my first and last time using this company!!
There were some scratches/cuts on light side.
The quality of this mat is great. The measurement lines are exactly right. I’ve had mats that had measurement lines that weren’t and that company told me that’s how they make it. Couldn’t believe they put that in writing. Not with this mat. It’s great!!

I love my mat. My only issue is that I assumed the size listed for the mat was the actual outside dimensions. This is not true. The guide is the size listed, with the total mat size being a couple of inches greater in both directions. This means that my table which exactly matched the dimensions listed, 48x60" is too small to fit the mat. It hangs over each edge. For now I am living with that, but it means that if I lean against my table while cutting my mat can shift. I think it's important to highlight clearly the total mat dimensions. But in terms of the quality of the mat I am 100 percent satisfied and wished I had decided to cover my entire work surface with a cutting mat far sooner!
To make precise cuts you must have a sharp blade and a firm mat. I am replacing a 10+ year old Olfa mat with this one from Quilter's Select. It is much thicker and firmer than my old mat. Cutting on it is so easy! One side is light gray with dark lines, with 1/8" markings, and the other is dark gray with white lines, which makes it easy to see. Very happy with this mat. And it arrived flat--not rolled, bent or warped in any way. Love it!
I was looking for a mat that is exactly the size of my table that is high quality with 1/8" markings and numbered both left to right. Finally!
Mat works well. Does seem to heal. Wish it had a bit more border around it. The 24x36 grid only has 1/4” extra on each side. Hopefully you don’t need to cut something is 24x36 because your rotary cutter will run off the mat.
love it! The markings are clear and easy to read on the dark mat. The markings are much easier on these old eyes than some others and the bigger size is a real plus. I don't have to drag out my giant mat to cut smaller blocks now. It saves so much time and hassle and leaves more time for sewing.

The cutting mat is much sturdier than I imagined. There are lots of double-sided rotary cutting mats, but this one is literally like two separate cutting mats glued to a third mat. It's sturdy.

I was having a little problem seeing the green mat well so I bought the new one. So far, it is wonderful!
Great service, love the cutting mat, however I cut myself on it because the mat has a nick on one edge. Not sure how I can fix it. Other than that I am happy with it.
