Perfect for medium-weight fabrics, this Pfaff 4MM Rolled Hem Foot makes it easy to create a neat, durable 4 mm hem in just one step—no pre-pressing required. Ideal for garments, table linens, and more!

How to Use:

1. Set Up Your Machine Select a straight stitch, snap on the Rolled Hem Foot, and engage the IDT™ system if your machine includes it.
2. Start the Hem If needed, press just the beginning of the hem to 4 mm wide. Place this folded edge into the groove under the foot and sew a few anchoring stitches. Lower the needle into the fabric to hold it in place.
3. Feed the Fabric Raise the presser foot and gently guide the raw edge of the fabric into the scroll on the front of the foot. Lower the foot, then continue sewing, keeping the fabric’s raw edge slightly lifted in front of the foot for smooth feeding.
4. Watch Fabric Placement Make sure the fabric doesn’t slide under the right half of the foot—this keeps the hem even and well-formed.

Tip: For crisp fabrics, use a straight stitch. For softer fabrics, try a zigzag that just wraps the hem’s width. Avoid using this foot on tightly curved edges, as it’s best suited for straight or gently curved hems.
