The Circular Embroidery Attachment #83 makes it easy to stitch beautiful circles and semicircles in a wide range of sizes using utility stitches, decorative stitches, or even lettering. It’s also a handy tool for appliquéing ribbons in smooth, perfectly rounded shapes. Pairing it with an extension table expands the sewing-bed area, giving you more support for steady, precise decorative stitching.

The attachment screws onto the free arm, and the rotation point can be positioned to the right or left of the needle. The attaching screw sits low and flat so fabric can glide over it without snagging. Use the slider to set diameters from 1" to 5-5/16" (2.5–13.5 cm). For best results, reinforce your fabric with 2–3 layers of stabilizer, then place the project on the center pin and secure it with the rubber cap to prevent shifting. Compatible with various presser feet, #83 lets you sew circles with virtually any stitch—and even arrange lettering in a perfect ring.
