Accustitch Stitch Regulator for Domestic Machines Details
For those who have ever wished they could use stitch regulation with their domestic machine without upgrading to a long arm, you are in luck. With the Accustitch Stitch Regulator for Domestic Machines, your free-motion quilting dreams just got a lot easier. Compatible with different brands and models, the Accustitch has patented technology and dual sensors for accurate reading of fabric movement. With the easy-to-use control module, you can even adjust the length of your stitches. After installation, Accustitch gives you the freedom to move your fabric in any direction while maintaining the ideal stitch length at any speed. It makes ruler work a breeze, too!
Accustitch Dual Sensor Technology
Unlike most regulators that only have one sensor, the Accustitch has two. One sensor tracks the movement of the fabric, while the other monitors the fabric's rotation. Once you get into points and curves, this dual sensor prevents your machine from "seizing" or losing its regulation. The patented sensors "talk" to each other for smoother stitch regulation as you move your fabric around.
Adjustable Stitch Length
Easily adjust your stitch length with the dial on the control module. Push the slider all the way to the left to create basting stitches and farther to the right to increase the stitches per inch. With the creative freedom to choose your stitch length, the designs you can create are endless. Please note that the Accustitch fits multiple brands and models, so it doesn't have numbers on the slider.
Foot Control
The included foot control doesn't function like your standard pedal; there's no up-and-down movement that's controlled like a gas pedal. The Accustitch is activated by pressing and holding the foot control; think of it as a start/stop button that doesn't require you to move your hands and feet simultaneously. Once the pedal is pressed, it activates the sensors so you can freely move your fabric.
Easy Conversion
It's super easy when you are ready to disengage the Accustitch and return to regular sewing. There's no need to remove the plate, cords, or module. All you have to do is disconnect where the Accustitch is plugged into the foot control jack and plug in your regular foot pedal; that's it. The Accustitch is discrete and won't get in the way of regular sewing since the module and cords are on the back of the machine, out of sight and mind.
Easy Installation
Accustitch is Quick and easy to install! Replace the throat plate cover, plug in the components, drop your feed dogs, and you are set to quilt! Please note that you may need to change your free-motion foot to a height-adjustable ruler foot. If your foot hops (pushes) on the fabric and needle plate, it creates stiction and a delay that the sensors can detect and your fabric won't glide as smoothly. Check out this video on choosing the correct foot for optimal results.
