Light up your embroidery, quilting, or hand-sewn projects with Wonderfil's Ahrora Polyester Glow in the Dark Thread. This 40-weight thread offers endless creative possibilities! Costumes, Halloween decorations, and more are suitable for use in this thread. It shines brightly for hours, and to "re-charge" it, stick your design under a bright light or place it in the sun for a few minutes. Each spool holds 200 yards. Please note that besides the orange and pink thread, the rest of the colors glow green in the dark.
To make the Ahrora Glow in the Dark thread pop, it's recommended that you use a dense fill stitch or triple stitch. The more stitches you use, the brighter the thread will be.
This glow-in-the-dark thread is activated by natural or artificial light. Ahrora thread will glow for approximately five (5) hours and needs two (2) hours to charge in the light. It's recommended that you use black lights (UV bulbs) to recharge the thread. Please note that general washings do not affect the glow of the thread, but they may be sensitive to high heat.
Choose from eight colors! These bright colors are great for embroidery, quilting, cosplay, and crafts. The colors included are white, cream, orange, teal, ivory, green, pink, and blue. You can use this thread in domestic machines, longarms, or when hand stitching.

Thread arrived looking used. Very nice female checked the other spools and said they were all like that. They should have been sent back to the distributor and replaced with a sleeve on them.
I used the glow-in-dark thread on a space themed banner I made for my grandchild. She’s enthralled over all things space and will love it!
The thread look good but the breakage was unacceptable for me. I would never buy it again.

The truth is I have not had the time to use it . I am working on a quilt that I plan on using it. What my plan is to quilt a personal love message in this thread to make my message unique on them. Glows well but did not sew well. Thread kept breaking and coming un "twisted".

Great quality
So excited to see that the neon thread was available to order. However, it took a month to get here, and did have to work with them to be sure my order was still being shipped. They didn't ship the items in stock, but rather waited until all of the thread was in stock. And didn't communicate with me until I continued to reach out to them. It was resolved but just took a long time.

I haven't finished my project yet, but this glow in the dark thread was purchased to embroider glow in the dark stars in the background of a sewing lesson project. I'm excited to see the full finished product. I already KNOW the glow in the dark trait works very well. Just a little light exposure sets this white glow in the dark thread off!
I'm not sure yet if I like it. I usually don't use polyester thread, it unravels quit a bit.
I have twin grandchildren; a boy and a girl. I am making pajamas for the boy and a nightgown for the girl. I am topstitching with the glow in the dark thread. They will love the glow!!
