Mako Cotton Thread is a 2-ply, long-staple Egyptian Cotton that has been mercerized to strengthen the thread and give it a lustrous sheen. Aurifil Mako Cotton Thread is available in a wide variety of colors, and each spool contains 356 yards (325.52m).
Don't forget, the lower the number of thread weight, the thicker the thread will be. Aurifils 12wt cotton thread is the absolute best at providing outstanding definition!
