I used it to quilt this one for my grandson due in March. I did “waves” across, then outlined the critters. It was beautiful to work with, not very linty, and I’m so pleased with the results!!

Aurifil's Mako Cotton Thread is a 2-ply, long-staple Egyptian Cotton that has been mercerized to strengthen the thread and give it a lustrous sheen. Mako Cotton thread in 40 weight is slightly thicker than a standard thread, making it ideal for topstitching, free motion quilting, embroidery, lacework, and much more. Aurifil Mako Cotton Thread is available in a wide variety of colors, and each spool contains 1094 yards (1000m).
Because of its slightly heavier weight, it is excellent to use for sewing bags, toys or dolls, clothing garments, or when a more defined topstitching or quilting pattern is needed. In addition, Aurifil threads are certified free of harsh, harmful chemicals and dyes.

This Aurifil thread appears to be a good quality, but all the colours are a bit off to me. Especially the Toast tan - not sure what I'll use that for. I was looking for a lighter pale gray; but your gray isn't quite what I wanted. For the high price and wonky colours, I'm not sure if I'll buy this thread brand again.
It is not pink enough as the picture. It has more peach tone to the thread

The colors are true to what I observed on the Sewing Parts website. So far this Aurifil thread, even the dark colors, leaves very little lint in the machine which; has been a problem with other brands I’ve used. I am very happy with this thread❤️
