Loving my new machine. Still waiting on all the pieces for the free bundle. When I made up my mind on what I wanted, I search the internet to see if I could find a presto with the quilting attachments. Now, to watch videos and read the manual for tips and tricks to use the machine.

The Presto II is great machine! Easy to use and fun to sew with. I had no trouble making the transition from my other machine.
I find the spacing between the presser foot and the base very short. It’s difficult to get my left hand into the thread guide area prior to the needle. That small screw is difficult to manage when removing and exchanging the regular foot to a walking foot. I’m finding changing the needle difficult. It seems to stick and requires needle nose pliers to remove. And once again, terrible screw design. I’m left handed so I find my arm continuously brushes against the selection panel when reaching for a pin, etc. - however, my clumsiness, I guess. The threader works wonderfully. Wish the cutter left a longer thread tail!

I love my Presto 2! It is a huge upgrade from my previous machine, and all the bells and whistles have been so fun to learn and try out. If I was to rate the sewing machine it would be 5 stars easily. The free bundle on the other hand. Watch what you receive. I received a walking foot that did not fit my machine. I am glad that I checked it out the needle position before I started to sew. I would have damaged my machine plus could have gotten hurt as the needle would have broken! No return call from customer service. Machine it top rate just make sure the walking foot works before you use it.

So far I've only been piecing an attic window quilt. But am in love with the machine. The needle threader is great. Better than the Husqvarna and my brother. The automatic stitch lock feature and thread cutter are a big yay. A negative is the not so ease of the bobbin winder. But, I'll get the hang of it our use my portable winder.

I used to sew many years ago ..so years after I retired I wanted to get back into it ..I wanted a good but not complicated machine. I did a lot of researching and I chose the baby lock Presto2.. I got to say I love it. It’s not intimidating and makes sewing fun. I create crafting projects , purses and now I’m trying to make a quilt ! . I definitely chose the right machine for whatever I want to make.. Things I said I wouldn’t make I’m making now because this machine is User-friendly!

my Baylock sewing machine started not making the buttonhole like it should. It keeps switching to double needle when it needs to be single needle to start the buttonhole. all I get when I contact the website is send them more money. So, it looks like I'll have to drive 35 miles to the shop and probably leave it with them and go back to get it later. I'm going to take it to another shop instead of the one where I bought it.

Very quiet machine. It makes more noise going over multiple layers. I can’t seem to master using the needle threader. The throat space is short so I struggle to manually thread the needle and use the tools to take off plate to clean.

Its quiet snd sews well. It fiesnt always thread the needle and it is difficultto take off plate to clean out bobbin area. Also difficult to manually thread needle. It seems to be much louder when sewing multiple layers.

Love this machine, just a lot to learn! Getting there though. Love the features for auto back stitching and cutting. Never had cutting feature before and it's wonderful to have! Will have to watch more videos on how to do certain stitches (there's a lot of them) with the free 60 day trial of classes on this machine. It will all come to me and I am surely enjoying it now and enjoying the learning as well. So much smoother than my other machine. (I won't say who's)
