I got it all set up, I made a red,white & blue quilt, just ordered some red,white,blue variegated thread to use to quilt my quilt, now I need to wait a week for my thread and then I can try it, but I think it will work out great.

I have purchased 2 of these, and both became inoperable after a few months. It is a wonderful tool, but the tiny metal clamp that holds the bar in place gets “sprung” and then it will no longer hold the bar tightly. After the clamp gets loose, it is impossible to sew consistently straight lines. After going through 2 of them, I am not sure what to do now for beautiful parallel quilting lines. Open to ideas.

I loved it at first, however now it won’t stay where I position it. The joke it goes through opens at the top and so the vibration of the machine has caused it to loosen. I tightened all screws, however it does not fix the problem

Due to operator error, I once again tightened the screws in too tight and the plastic piece once again broke off. Going back to masking tape. Great product while they last. Let me know when they make them in metal.

It was easy to put on my machine and soon after I started doing parallel lines after about 4 lines if got very loose and the bar was no longer stable. It appears it was only a thin piece of metal holds that bar in place. After very little use in one day, the guide bar is to loose and flimsy and it no longer works properly. It’s useless to me now.

I was straight line quilting with my Digital Dual Foot and realized how much easier and faster it would be if I had a guide bar on the foot. I ordered the guide bar & adaptor and could not be happier. It works perfectly and saves me ample time on markings. I did find a on-line tutorial to help with the installation of the adapter as the directions were not very clear. This was a great buy, my order was filled promptly and I received it within a week of my order.
