Love the extra length for quilting. And the hands free pressure foot device.
I had a little trouble learning how to thread it and run it, but now that I've figured it out I think it will be great.
Love how easy this is to use.
I purchased this machine for a few reasons. #1 being I was having issues with 2 other machines in my studio, 1 of those was at the shop. I needed a machine to use as soon as I could get my hands on one. So reason #2 was I was looking for a middle of the road machine, hopefully reliable and durable. This machine fit all of that, and I feel like you can't beat the price and the throat space! This is meant to be the back-up to my main sewing machine, the Babylock Allegro. I may have to flip a coin anytime I enter my quilt studio. Not a bad issue to have, right?
I love it! It sews like a dream! I never thought I would own such a nice machine but the price at sewing parts online the prices were very affordable.

Tension is sensitive or changes after a period. I’ve never had to rethread so often. I like the longer arm for quilting
This machine was an excellent price. It sews very smoothly and quietly even through many layers of fabric. I’m happy with it.
It is great, but it came with the stitch width knob unable to turn. The machine went back the next business day for repairs.

I love my new JAZZ 2 because it pairs so well with the Cutie Breeze frame and it enables me to quilt my quilts in a I way I couldn't previously. Long arm quilting systems have been out of my price range since I began quilting, but the JAZZ and the Breeze have revolutionized quilting for me. I absolutely love my Jazz2!. The throat space is perfect for my quilting and the manual settings are precise. Now, the is a bit of user learning that comes with the Jazz2 but nothing that a little patience can't fix. The price is amazing take advantage of it!

Exactly what I was looking for to go with Cutie Frame
I bought the machine for my wife. We both love it. She has figured out that she can use a thread stand for a cone of thread by leaving the top open and placing the stand on the right end of the machine. I am a collector of vintage mechanical machines. I am impressed with how smooth the machine runs and how much room there is between the needle and the pedestal. With the Sew Steady table and the walking foot we think we are set. I fully recommend all three items.
I just unboxed My jazz 11 Today. I received it about a good week ago and I sewed on it yesterday I tried thick fabrics stitches. I believe this is going to be my favorite machine. It’s so so smooth. I want to add that when you start out stitching that it does not knot up like the Janome sewing machines. So far,it doesn’t seem too picky about threads either I do not regret buying this wonderful sewing machine.
I love the throat space as I do a lot of free motion quilting. I purchased this in March 2026 and it seems to be a real work horse. There are two things I think could have been designed better. 1. The needle threader has the most flimsy design and I had to repair it with tweezers upon receiving machine. It has since bent again. :( 2. I don't like that there is not a way to set the machine to not go over the certain speed you set. My Janome did this and it makes the free motion stitching come out much more evenly. So I am learning how to try and be more consistent with the pedal speed.
I have seen on many different brands of sewing machines. Each had many good points, but Babylock is the best I have used. This was a replacement for the old babylock that I used for years. It still was very good but I wanted to update my machine. I gave my older one to my great-grand-daughter, who is just starting to sew.. I am sure she will get a lot of use with it. I am very happy with my new one.
Love the large throat space. We should have a thread cutter and a better self threader for the needle.
No fluff but it does have some special stitches but this works better than my expensive Babylock Crescendo. I bought this to work on my new Quit MotionX and Cutie Breeze but I might just put my Crescendo on it instead and use the Jazz2 as my main sewing machine.
Love this machine! I wanted a sturdy workhorse machine for quilt piecing and retreats to save my computerized embroidery machine and I got exactly what I wanted!! Highly recommend this machine.
Threading and bobbin winding are challenging
easy to thread. I have not yet figured out how to use the needle threader. Excellent heavy duty machine. I would highly recommend it for quilting
I have been looking for a new sewing machine for over a year. I have "test driven" many but could not make the decision to buy. When Sewing Parts Online.com advertised the Baby Lock Jazz 2 at such an incredible price, I knew now was the time to buy. I have purchased items from them in the past, so I knew I would get this machine quickly and they have great customer service. I am so pleased with my purchase.
Let's be honest... As a guy buying this for my wife, what do I even know! What I DO know is that she claims that it like moving a hot knife through frozen butter.... that it's fast and has so many things it CAN do.... and now I am building a custom drop table and bench storage space for her to work on 'larger quilt projects'... I needed a machine for quilting with a big throat and this one has it. It has good piercing power and is easy to use. It was a little bit different to thread, but the instructions were clear.
