This is such a tiny tool that it’s easily lost. Which is what happened in my case. I was replacing the original one that came with my Babylock serger. It works like a charm when threading thicker decorative threads into your serger.

Awesome tool. Anyone who owns a Babylock Serger should have one of these. I have been serging a lot of flannel for a non profit. Lower quality Looper threads have been breaking on me. Thus rendering my Serger useless. I have used this countless times in in the two weeks since it arrived.

This looper threader is my peace of mind device. My 25 year old babylock threads the loopers with air pressure. Its a great idea, but it doesn't work consistently and sometimes, it might take 20 minutes or more of trying to finally get enough thread in the orifice to grab the air. So I tend to tie off my thread changes rather than depend on it. But sometimes, you have to use it. And when its being cantankerous, I love that I have a backup plan with the looper threader wire. I've had to replace it once because I somehow managed to break the little diamond lasso on the end. But its been very dependable. So glad I can still get it after all these years.

This is a great little tool for your serger. I have a self-threading machine, but sometimes it needs a little help, and this does the job. But it is small and easily lost so keep it in its plastic bag when not using it.
